NitroSicily is a multidisciplinary lab, studio and symposium center.
It is ideally suited for scholars, students, intellectuals and decision makers who seek to collaborate on special projects in a tranquil Mediterranean coastal setting which has mild and beautiful climate almost all year round.

WHERE IS SICILY LAB
The SicilyLab, was opened on 19 February 2006 in Gioiosa Marea, a small town on the northeastern coast of Sicily. Gioiosa Marea is located in front of the Aeolian Islands and near to the greek-Roman archaeological site of Tindari.

THE STRUCTURE
NitroSicily is a multidisciplinary lab, a studio place and symposium center.
It is suited for scholars, students, intellectuals and decision makers who want to develop stages living.
NitroSicily has two studio places (Tic and Tac studios, refer to plan), a large seminar and meeting place (Navigation room). There is also a Library and entrance (Exchange e door ) and Kitchenette with outside terrace and garden. The entire Lab can comfortably provide individual workspace from 14 to 30 scholars, plus three to four tutors.
THE WORKSHOPS
The SicilyLab, is a place dedicated to events related to the architecture theme. The Lab is a space designed for the realization of events, seminars and workshops. It ‘a place enjoyed by all those who want to use the Lab as creators of events or simply as guests when the Lab create the event.

GIOIOSA MAREA
Gioiosa can be reached by plane train, boat and car. Palermo International Airport is served by (WindJet particularly economic from Rome or Milan), Ryan Air , Airone, Alpi Eagles , Helvetic , Hlx , Meridiana , MyAir , Transavia , Virgin Express , Volareweb.com and major companies such as Alitalia, Lufthansa etc. See guide. Gioiosa is a two hours train ride from Palermo Airport. Gioiosa can also be reached by train from mainland Italy with direct day or night trains from Rome. The nearest fast stration train stop is Capo d’orlando. From Capo d’orlando is possible to take a bus, a local train or a 25 minutes taxi ride for 20 euro. Alternatively, boats link Palermo Port to Civitavecchia Port (about 100 km north of Rome) or Naples, or Genua or Barcelona in Spain. These boats are also car ferries which makes them a convenient solution. By car, Gioiosa is located at the “Brolo, Capo d’orlando est” Exit of the high way Palermo-Messina
